Red Mountain
The rocky, volcanic Red Mountain landscape was transformed more than 12,000 years ago when the receding Missoula floods dropped rich soil deposits and created a fertile new hillside. For the past three decades vineyards located on its gently sloping shoulders have produced grapes for some of the most sought after wines in the world. It is this reputation for quality that has brought Doug Long, Paul Kaltinick and Dick Shaw together to collaborate on a new winery and estate vineyard on Red Mountain.
