Obelisco 2009 Electrum Cabernet grabs Double Gold in the 2012 competition.
Electrum was the only Washington wine in the $60 and over Cabernet Sauvignon classification to medal. Only 4 Double Golds were given in this category and Obelisco was one of them. This is a huge honor for us! Furthermore, among the Double Gold Winners, the Obelisco Electrum was the only wine from 2009!(the others were 2008) Can you imagine how good this wine will be next year?

The 2012 San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition has set a new American wine competition record with an astounding 5,500 entries, surpassing its previous record of 5,050 last year. For nine consecutive years, this prestigious competition holds strong as the “Largest Competition of American Wines in the World.”
